Arts and Crafts Basic Level

I know I am not an artist, but drawing and painting is a thing for me. I'm passionate about it even though I might not be that artistic.

"I start drawing, and eventually the characters involve themselves in a situation. Then in the end, I go back and try to cut out most of the preachment" - Dr. Seuss.
So, drawing should start somewhere in order for it to become alive. Every skill can be developed, and that is the thing with drawing. I once saw an illustration of an eye drawn by a little kid. It was so simple, as simple as a kid can draw. Then, he worked on himself so hard until he became a very talented artist.
On the other hand, you might be good at drawing but then you loose it. My older brother, for example,  used to be good at drawing. he drew Bugs-Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and dizzy bees all over the walls of his room. The drawings are perfect! but as he grew up, he couldn't draw that good anymore because his hands shake due to nerves' issue. (Not that big issue, but he can't draw well as he used to).
So here I start, and maybe, just maybe, I become a decent artist some day.

Here are a few copies of the drawings I have done in the Arts and Crafts course (Spring 2017).

  1. "The biggest challenge, I think for any new artist, is patience" Brett E.
You're on the right track love, you only need patience and practice. As a person who also aspires to become a professional painter, I believe that no matter how simple the marks left by a brush are, they are whisperings of your soul. People may not understand it. They may not appreciate it, but it matters to YOU. YOU understand it, and that's what really matters!
